What is a soulmate’s face?
A “soulmate” is that special someone you may cross paths with someday, somewhere. It doesn’t have to be a romantic partner; some people picture a lifelong friend or a partner at work. Because you haven’t met yet, your imagination runs wild: “What do they look like?” “Would I notice if we passed each other?” Maybe the face comes to mind before a name or a job because looks are the first clue you get the moment you meet.
There’s also a popular saying that your soulmate looks like you. Many people have heard that couples who spend years together start to share expressions and gestures. Still, this is only a saying that’s out there. Whether you can laugh naturally together probably matters far more than whether you look alike.
This test combines the numbers in a birthday using Love Type’s own method to pick one of 12 vibe types and one of 48 face illustrations. It also shows the features of the eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, face shape and hair, along with hints about where and when you might meet and what could bring you together. The same birthday always gives the same result. It’s free, and the birthday is never saved or sent. It isn’t traditional fortune-telling, so please enjoy it purely as entertainment.
The face is just a starting point. Rather than searching for someone who looks like the illustration, use the meeting hints as an excuse to go somewhere new or chat with someone you don’t usually talk to. How it works
The year, month and day of a birthday are combined using Love Type’s own calculation to choose one of 12 vibe types and one of that type’s two faces. The meeting place (8 options), season (4), trigger (6) and sign not to miss (6) are each picked separately from the same birthday.
The gender you pick only decides whether the face shown is male or female. With the same birthday, the vibe type and meeting hints stay the same whether you pick the male face or the female face.
Each face illustration is a fictional person, drawn after its six features (eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, face shape and hair) were decided in advance. The feature descriptions and the drawing come from the same settings.
The calculation, types, text and illustrations are original entertainment created by Love Type. It is not numerology, physiognomy or any traditional fortune-telling.

- How is the face decided?
- The numbers in a birthday are combined using Love Type’s own method to pick one of 12 vibe types and one of the two face illustrations for that type. See “How it works” for details.
- Does the same birthday always give the same face?
- Yes. With the same birthday and the same face choice, you’ll get the same face and the same meeting hints every time. If you and a friend end up with the same face, that’s something fun to talk about.
- Can I try someone else’s birthday?
- Yes. You can try the birthday of a family member, a friend or someone you have a crush on. Just remember the results are for fun, so please don’t use them to judge or label real people.
- Is my birthday sent anywhere?
- No, it’s never sent or saved. The calculation happens only inside your browser. The birthday isn’t included in result page links or share images either. The only thing kept on this device is the number of your latest result.
- If someone looks like the illustration, are they my soulmate?
- This test is just for fun, so looking alike doesn’t decide anything about fate. But “You look like my illustration!” might make a nice conversation starter.
- I want to see a more realistic face
- Use “Copy realistic photo prompt” on the result page. Save the face illustration and send it, along with the copied text, to the image-generation AI you usually use to turn it into a photo-style face. Any generated image stays within the service you use.
- Can I see a face of the same gender as me?
- Yes. Under “Your soulmate’s gender,” you can choose either a male face or a female face. We never ask for your own gender.
- Is it accurate?
- It’s entertainment made to be fun rather than accurate. Enjoy it with a “maybe that’s a little spot-on” feeling, and use it as something to chat about with friends.
