Sign-in and Purchase Information
We handle the following only when you use our paid features.
- When you sign in with Google: your Google account's email address, name and profile picture. We use them to identify your account and show it on screen.
- When you buy something: which test you bought, when, the amount and currency, the status of your monthly plan (when the current period ends and whether it is set to cancel), your customer and payment IDs at our payment provider, and, for one-time purchases, the email address entered on the payment page. We use them to confirm your purchases and provide the paid features.
- When you buy without signing in: we also use the email address entered on the payment page to move the purchase to your account when you sign in with a Google account that has the same email address. To recognize the browser you bought with, we store a cookie with a random value (
lt_guest) and a cookie that shows there is a purchase (lt_guest_m), both for 400 days. We use them to show what you bought in that browser and to move the purchase to your account when you sign in with Google in that browser. We do not store the cookie's value itself, only a form of it that cannot be turned back (a hash). - Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and other payment details are never sent to or stored by this site.
- Where it is stored: account and purchase information is stored with Supabase, a database service (Tokyo region).
Google, Stripe and Supabase handle this information as needed for sign-in, payments and data storage.
