These fictional dilemmas involve people or animals dying on the route you choose. You can change your choice until time expires. No choice is also recorded, and the route is drawn at random. This test does not judge right answers or moral worth.
Completed choices and timing records contribute to anonymous statistics. No name or contact details are needed. Switching to another tab interrupts the test.

What is the TDMI test?
It is a trolley-dilemma game combining choices, involvement, response consistency and decision speed. The LoveType version uses the original 14-question structure and scoring rules, with its own writing and illustrations.
What can a trolley dilemma test tell me?
You can reflect on this run's decision patterns, including changes of choice and unanswered rounds. It does not prove how you would behave in real life or measure moral worth.
Is TDMI the same as MBTI?
No. Although sometimes called moral MBTI, TDMI does not use MBTI indicators such as E/I or its official assessment. Both have 16 types, but they describe different things.
Do changes of choice and timeouts affect the result?
Yes. You can change your choice during the 10-second window. The final choice time and number of changes are recorded. A timeout without a choice is separate from actively choosing the main track.
Can identical choices produce different results?
Yes. Timing and changes of choice also enter the calculation, so the same routes can lead to different types. Your circumstances and how you read the screen can also affect the record.
How does this differ from the original TDMI site?
This is an independent version using LoveType's interface, with its own writing, explanations and illustrations. Statistics use completed LoveType responses, not the original site's counts. Switching tabs interrupts the test and requires a restart.
