Your sin
Lust
LUST
Ripples That Keep Spreading
Where it lands, your voice carries on.
What is inside you wants to go out and reach someone. Knowing, thinking and making all pay off at the moment they land with another person. Leaving something undelivered is what unsettles you most.

What this sin looks like
When Lust comes out strongest, you do not finish things inside yourself. What you learn, think and make has to reach someone and be received before it feels complete. This sin measures the direction of that force, from inside outward, not the strength of any appetite.
So the state that sits worst with you is something true and undelivered. You change the wording, the order, the audience, and try to land it again.
Where it shows up day to day
- When you find something good, you are already thinking who to tell
- If a point does not land, you say it again in different words
- The work that got a response is the work you put more into next
- Information worth sharing beats information you could keep to yourself
Where it works as a strength
You move things that were stuck between people. You can recast the same content into a shape that fits the listener, which suits you to bridging specialist or high-intensity subjects.
Recommendations travel well through you for the same reason. What you decide is good tends to spread after passing through your hands.
Where it spins its wheels
It gets painful when the presence of a response starts to look like a verdict on your worth. Usually what failed was the timing or the listener's situation, not the content. Still, a long stretch of not being received turns delivering into the goal itself.
It is worth checking whether you are pushing. Raising the count while someone is not ready to receive lowers, rather than raises, the chance of landing.
How it sits with the other sins
Gluttony runs the other way. Gluttony draws the outside world in; Lust sends what is inside out. When both are strong, you take something in and pass it on almost immediately.
Envy sits nearby as well. Both route through other people, but Envy measures the distance to them while Lust tries to hand something over.
If this came out for you
Judge whether it landed by one person's reception rather than by the number of responses. If a single person took it in deeply, the delivery worked.
Deliberately keeping something for yourself also helps. Putting everything out leaves no time for the next thing to grow.
